About Chain Therapy
My name is Jean, I am an employee and an Elder for Lower Fraser Valley Aboriginal Society. (LFVAS)
I started beading the year 1999 when I wanted to make jewelry for my bridesmaids. I made necklaces with beads and wire. Since then, I have had the experience of learning how to make earrings, bracelets, and many other timely patterns. I have also had the privilege of teaching the beading part of our culture at the Mission friendship centre, the local bead store in Abbotsford, and at Lower Fraser Valley Aboriginal Society. We started the program Chain therapy to keep the culture going, and to connect with the community. Beading is very therapeutic and rewarding.
All proceeds will go towards more supplies for Chain therapy so we can continue to come together.
Chain therapy thanks you for your support.
